Trampoline removal in Leeds

A trampoline is more work than one item suggests
Underneath the mat, dozens of steel springs sit under tension, which is why taking one apart is not a job for a quick tug. The frame is usually galvanised steel tube in curved sections, and the enclosure poles slot in or bolt on. Twelve-footers and larger models have a lot of parts, and none of them fit through a side passage until the frame has been split.
Weather matters too. A trampoline that has stood on the lawn for years may have sunk into the turf, rusted at the joints or grown a layer of green. We loosen it, lift it out and leave the marked grass to recover. If yours was set into the ground with a hole around it, tell us: we take the trampoline, but not soil, and you would need to make the hole safe afterwards.

We take it down
The net comes off first, then the mat and springs, then the frame in sections.

The lawn is left clear, and anything small that fell off is picked up.
Where the pieces go
Steel frames and springs are metal, and metal is recyclable. Nets, mats and padding are mixed synthetic materials that generally cannot be recycled, so they go for energy recovery rather than landfill where we can manage it.
A trampoline in good working order might be wanted by someone else, and we will keep that in mind, but we cannot promise it or name a destination.
Trampoline removal questions
Do I need to dismantle it before you arrive?
No, and it is better if you do not, because the springs are under tension. We take it apart on the day.
What if the trampoline is buried in weeds or leaves?
That is fine. Mention it so we bring gloves and time for clearing the frame, but you do not need to tidy first.
Can you take a big one with a safety enclosure?
Yes. Send a photo with the net still up and we plan around the number of poles and the frame sections.
Do you fill in the hole if it was sunk into the ground?
No. We take the trampoline but not soil. The hole needs to be made safe by you or a gardener after we have gone.
