The table is one job and the chairs are another
Most tables are simple to take apart: the legs unscrew or unbolt from the top, and the top is carried flat. The trouble is the top. A thick oak or glass table top is heavy, fragile and awkward to grip, and extending tables come with leaves that slide out from underneath and may be stored separately in a cupboard. Ask where those are before the day, or they get left behind.
Chairs are lighter but numerous, and a set of six or eight takes space in the van. Upholstered seats can be stained or damp, and carvers with arms are wider than they look. Sometimes one chair in a set is loose or broken, and we would rather know that than find it on the stairs.

Solid wood tables and matching chairs can be reused where they are in good condition, and we will try to route them that way. Glass tops, board tables and worn upholstered chairs are split by material where they can be: timber, glass and metal go to recycling, and stuffed seats generally go for energy recovery.

Yes, with care. Show us the thickness and any chips in your photos, and we wrap it and load it upright.
What if the table is too big to leave through the door?
Then we take it apart where it stands. Most large tables come apart at the legs, and a few need the top separated too.
Can I just book the table without the chairs?
Yes. Say which pieces you want removed so we quote the load properly.
